you say im a feminist like its a bad thing
The idea of being a feminist is taken the wrong way and also frowned upon by many. Yes feminist do think that women should be treated just as equally to men, however some things in society are strictly for men such as certain sports. There are other factors that influence feminist thoughts such as certain televison shows or even commercials. My opinion on the statement is that feminist do everything normal women do, they just view the world that everyone should be created equal no matter of your race or sexuality.

I agree on the statement that "feminist do everything that normal women do." I think people see feminist as "rebels" and that they don't want to do anything that men say and I don't believe that's the case.
ReplyDeleteI agree that feminists are just like normal women. The reason most people automatically make assumptions about them is because they are going outside of the "expected" gender role of a woman just because they think that they should be equal to men.
ReplyDeleteI agree with the other two posts as well, because feminists should not be looked down upon, they are just as human and normal women like everybody else. But, I can see where people would put feminists in a different category because they put themselves out there in the open more than normal women do, and definitely try harder, in which they are recognized.
